Hollis (Chip) Felkel
Chip Felkel has served as a trusted advisor, navigator and connector to senior decision-makers at all levels of business and government providing a frank objective perspective on political and policy issues, on communications challenges and business development projects. Based on those years of experience Felkel founded RAP Index®, a revolutionary public affairs tool that uncovers an organization’s best stakeholder assets. Felkel’s expertise and insight has also been sought by law firms, associations and corporations as a speaker for staff retreats, training seminars, and annual meetings.
Chip also is a veteran public affairs strategist, media relations expert and advocacy innovator with more than two decades of experience in the state and national arenas. He is a sought-after analyst of political and corporate affairs for regional, national and global media that represent major news and business media in print, cable and broadcast. Felkel’s extensive political resume includes roles with the South Carolina Republican Party and the Republican National Committee. In addition, he has played major roles with Campbell for South Carolina Governor, the 1988 Bush-Quayle Campaign, DeMint 2002 Congressional Re-elect, and in the Bush-Cheney 2000 and 2004 Presidential Campaigns.
Felkel is a member of the Board of Visitors of his alma mater, the University of South Carolina, and serves his community and state in a variety of voluntary roles.
